Inspired by the ethereal beauty of our Cloud Sheer, Cloudscape adapts the same captivating essence into a more durable fabric, perfect for low-abrasion upholstery applications.
This innovative textile combines hand-spun silk yarn with inserts of brushed mohair waste, carefully salvaged from our hand-brushed mohair blankets. As the light catches the fabric, the delicate lustre of the silk shines through, evoking the gentle drift of clouds across a serene sky. The random inserts of mohair “fluff” continue to evoke the soft, wispy clouds that lazily pass by, inviting relaxation and tranquility. The hand-spun silk yarn introduces a subtle texture, lending an organic, refined quality to the fabric that echoes the soothing movement of the clouds. Cloudscape embodies the same enchanting serenity as its sheer counterpart, but with a more robust construction, making it perfect for adding a touch of timeless elegance to upholstered pieces.
